AfriBusiness says that an official from the Land Claims Commission has confirmed that affected individuals and interested parties to the Johannesburg South land claim (Bakwena claim) have until 2 February 2017 to make submissions to the Commission.

This follows after AfriBusiness sent a letter to the Commission regarding the period of time allowed for submissions.

AfriBusiness urges affected individuals and interested parties who had their properties listed in the Government Gazette of 4 November 2016 to make submissions before the expiry date. Submissions should contain any information that could help the Commission to determine whether a specific piece of land should form part of the claim or not.

The public is welcome to contact AfriBusiness for any further information in this regard.
